    Job Title

    Senior Officer, FOCA

    Reports To

    Senior Executive, BUP FOCA

    Role Purpose

    Overall monitoring and supervision of FOCA Build-Up. To ensure all Customers Airlines cargo are properly handled in accordance to Customer Airlines requirements. Communicate with Vendor on any short of Vendor for Build-Up. Perform quality check on Build-Up ULD by vendor which include height, weight, manifesting etc. Adhere to all IMS requirement and any other relevant policies and procedure set by the company.

    Key Responsibility
    • Station Manager/Rep/Head shall provide leadership, management, and control of Firefly station operations with regulation compliant, efficient, and cost effective. Station Manager/Rep/Head shall also be responsible to ensure that every aspect of regulatory requirements and operation requirement are met and complied.

    Accountability

    • Overall monitoring and supervision of FOCA Build-Up
    • Acknowledge Load Plan received from Customer Airlines and prepare flight assignment for planners
    • Ensure availability of ULD prior to Build-Up
    • Communicate with Customer Airlines rep for non ULD and special arrangement
    • Communicate with Vendor on any short of Vendor for Build-Up
    • Perform quality check on Build-Up ULD by vendor which include height, weight, manifesting etc
    • Attend to Customer Airlines inquiry and provide report on mishandling/discrepancy
    • Verify flight service file
    • Enforce established procedure and other requirements and ensure compliance
    • Liaise with OPCC on all operational matter and performance
    • Perform administration function – staff annual leave, overtime and training
    • Prepare daily performance report
    • Review new requirement from Airlines and disseminate to staff
    • Close communication with Customer Airlines
    • Assist during Customer Airlines audit
    • To perform others task assigned by a superior
    • Assists Head of Unit in implementing and maintaining IMS and all related operational requirements
    Qualification & Experience
    • SPM or higher tertiary qualification with 5 years experience in Cargo Operations Field
    Areas of Experience
    • Knowledge in Cargo Handling and IATA Regulations
    • Knowledge in LMS System / CWIS System
    • Be able to establish effective working relationship with many different people from various levels in the organization.
    • Knowledge in Build-Up activities and planning
    • Self-motivated and able to take initiative and use sound judgment in day to day work and decision-making
    • Be able to establish effective working relationship with many different people from various levels in the organization
    • Professional, courteous, reliable and good negotiation skills
    • Strong written, spoken communication as well as presentation skills
    • Able to perform tasks with minimum supervision, keeps minimal improving self-skills and ability
    • 1Ability to write detailed report

    Personality Traits

    • Pleasant with good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Fluent and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
