As a PNB Graduate Executive Trainee in the Shariah Management Department, I had the opportunity to assist the Head of Department in various Shariah-related initiatives. This included conducting Shariah research in Wakaf Istibdal, Wakaf Hibah ASNB Project, Zakat microfinancing and micro-Takaful to asnaf. Additionally, I supported the Shariah Advisory team in providing reports on Shariah Compliance Investments in Permodalan Nasional Berhad, guided by the guidelines and procedures based on Shariah Committee PNB and Securities Commissions framework.

In my role, I also managed PNB's Corporate Social Responsibility Programme through the yearly Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) in Programme "Tanyalah Ustaz TV9" and was involved in preparing activities and programmes for MOU PNB-IKIM FM radio programme. I also undertook daily activities that consisted of every unit in the department, such as Shariah Risk, Shariah Secretariat & Advisory, Shariah Compliance, and Zakat & Wakaf Management.

Before this, I was a Takaful Specialist at Hong Leong Bank MSIG Takaful, where I identified potential customers and met individual sales targets set by Management. I recommended and proposed appropriate products with quotations and closed sales while building and maintaining close rapport with both bankers and customers. I attended to all customers' requests and concerns promptly and accurately and communicated customers' feedback & market intelligence to the Management.

I began my career in the Takaful industry as a Takaful Advisor at Zurich Takaful Kuala Terengganu. I advised the public on the importance of Takaful products and approached and convinced clients to join Takaful with Zurich Takaful.

Overall, my experience has provided me with a strong understanding of Shariah Compliance Investments, Takaful, and customer service. I am eager to bring my skills and experience to a new opportunity in the industry.

I have completed a Bachelor of Shariah and Economics at the University of Malaya with a CGPA of 3.58 (Pass With Honours). I also on the Dean's List for three semesters. Prior to this, I have completed STPM (Usuluddin) at Sekolah Menengah Agama Atas Sultan Zainal Abidin with a CGPA of 3.92 and a MUET band score of 3
