Preventive Conservation Volunteer – National Museum Wales, Cardiff              October 2019 – April 2020

• Engaged with visitors to educate and inform them about the importance and work of preventive conservation 
• Conducted integrated pest monitoring by laying down traps, identifying insect species and compiling data for analysis for over 210 different areas around the museum
• Microclimate conditioning for over 120 archaeological objects and 15 geological cases
• Carried out preventive conservation for the Dippy enclosure during the Dippy on Tour exhibition, the entire Evolution of Wales gallery and the Art galleries

• Communicated with media contacts and successfully confirmed 45 guests, including the Minister of Tourism Malaysia, as attendees of the Eid festival media launch
• Created a variety of promotional posts, live broadcasts and highlights for Avenue K’s Instagram page
