Bilal Ashfaq Ahmed is a computer engineering expert currently completing his Ph.D. With a strong focus on Software Defined Networking (SDN), Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL), he is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of research and innovation. Enthusiastic about both education and technology, Bilal aspires to make substantial contributions to academia and industry as an Assistant Professor. His goal is to foster advancements that benefit society while further broadening his expertise.

Engr. Dr. Bilal Ashfaq Ahmed is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently a Junior Visiting Researcher at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor, he has been involved in collaborative research and publication writing. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Lahore, Pakistan where he taught various computer science and engineering courses, mentored students, supervised final year projects, and contributed to curriculum development. His tenure as a BSS Engineer at Hyquip Sourcing & Services Pakistan and as a Trainee Engineer at Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited enhanced his practical skills in network implementation and troubleshooting. Dr. Ahmed's blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience equips him with a unique perspective for teaching and research in computer engineering.

Engr. Dr. Bilal Ashfaq Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor where he developed a novel "Fractional Political Optimisation Method for Switch Migration in Software Defined Networks," achieving a perfect CGPA of 4.0. He also earned an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan with a CGPA of 3.2, focusing on the implementation and evaluation of MPLS and IPSec tunnels. Additionally, he completed his B.E. in Computer System Engineering from Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Khuzdar, Pakistan graduating as a gold medalist with an 85% score. His academic journey is complemented by several certifications, including MPLS, CCNP, MCITP, and CCNA, reflecting his strong foundation and expertise in computer and network engineering.
