Chung Weng Hong

My name is Weng Hong. I am currently studying at QUEST International University. The course I am studying is a Bachelor of Environmental Technology. I am a vegetarian, and one of the reasons I became a vegetarian is because of the environment.In these years of study, I have learned a lot of environmental knowledge in terms of knowledge and practicality, and I hope that I can learn more things in the environmental field and apply them in the future to reduce pollution and build a better future for the next generation. 

After my SPM, I had done many types of part-time jobs, and one of the jobs that was relevant to my courses was in the Global Environmental Centre. I had opportunities to work with GEC because our university collaborated with this company for 3 days, and during the job I learned skills to find, identify, and obtain the bioindicator from the river. Other than that, I had also learned skills to determine river quality through bioindicators.

In 2019, I finished my SPM at SMK Bandar Utama Damansara, and I continued with my STPM at Kolej Tingkatan Enam Bandar Utama. After I finish my STPM in 2021, I will continue my degree at QUEST International University and am currently in Year 3 with a CGPA of 3.62.
