Good day! I am writing to express my interest in joining Changi General Hospital as a medical laboratory technologist. As a academic medical institution, Changi General Hospital which aim to provide a holistic and patient-centered healthcare service has prompted my aspiration in joining this organization. I believe that my academic qualification, personal skills, and strong enthusiasm in learning have a perfect match with the vision and mission of Changi General Hospital.

I am well familiarized with basic laboratory skills, which made me well prepared for carrying out laboratory tests, analysis as well as subsequent diagnosis. Other than practical class, I also accumulated independent hands-on experience and good laboratory practice during my 5 months-Final Year project.
 

Through industrial training in the Bioanalytical Research Department, I acquired bioanalysis technique especially for pharmacokinetic principle and SOP in a medical laboratory. My communication skills in multi-ethnic population had also been well-developed throughout industrial training as well as involvement in events organization which might play a dominant position in laboratory stock order.
 

In my spare time, I am continuing to acquire knowledge in laboratory skills for the latest medical devices or equipment through online demonstration videos and research articles. I believe that my enthusiasm and eagerness to learn make me a strong candidate.

• I have experience in simple clinical biochemistry test (glucose , total cholesterol, haemoglobin…) and get involved in finger pricking and preparation of venous sampling throughout my 5-months FYP
• I am familiarized with good laboratory practice, routine laboratory maintenance including inner validation and verification of simple laboratory instrument, as well as glassware cleaning
• I also accumulated job scope as custodian in lab in maintaining reagent, consumable and glassware stock in lab

I am a unofficial graduate (as I haven't get graduation certificate but completed all programme structure) of Bachelor of Science (Hons) Biomedical Science from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, start from November 2022. I acquired a moderate academic result: CGPA 3.4551 throughout my degree programme and accumulated extensive basic laboratory experience in practical class as well as Final Year Project.
