Drama and children are indeed inseparable. Thus, I am very determined to contribute my knowledge and drama skills for the benefit of children. I strongly believe that children will learn the appropriate skills such as empathy, tolerance, cooperation, and independence through various interesting drama techniques that have been developed by well-known Drama Educator founders named Winifred Ward, Viola Spolin, Dorothy Heathcote, Peter Slade, Vivian Gussin Paley, and Geraldine Siks. I will ensure that children achieve balanced growth from both spiritual and physical aspects. This is because the development of children is not measured solely through academic achievement, but their ability to practise good values also needs to be emphasized in ensuring that they become human beings with high manners, morals, and identity. Teaching drama is an amazing career as I will definitely apply the theories of behaviorism proposed by Pavlov, Skinner, Bandura, Thorndike, and Watson. There is nothing else like working with children in this setting. It is exciting and very rewarding to watch the children discover their abilities as they learn new ways to express themselves through project-based and task-based learning.

I have a vast understanding of child drama, children stage make up, community theatre, children’s theatre, puppetry, creative drama and extensive knowledge of realism and experimental acting techniques as well as creative movement for children, early childhood literacy, and various preschool curricula such as Reggio Emilia, Smart Start, Sure Start, Highscope, Montessori, and Waldorf. Besides that, I have handled auditions, selected the cast, and directed rehearsals for children.

I am a qualified Ph.D. holder in Drama Education. I also have Executive Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
