About Haswirni Appalasamy :

Ensuring that the organization does not miss out grabbing an opportunity due to the risks it carries instead work on mitigating the risk has always been my goal as a risk advisor. 

Experience

 I have been serving as a risk advisor for a year and a half.  As a risk advisor, we work on to :

  • Develop risk matrix to assess the risks identified
  • Perform wargame on key business areas and critical system to evaluate the effectiveness of current control and the preparedness of the teams to face any unwanted incident.
  • Perform risk assessment on both technical (Back-end, DevOps, and Disaster Recovery) and non-technical (human resources and customer support) team.
  • Perform jurisdictional business exposure risk assessment
  • Perform AML/CFT risk assessment 

Education

Im a Bsc in economics & finance graduate from Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur with aCGPA of 3.806/4.0
