Hillary Yong

Recent graduate from the University of Melbourne majoring in biotechnology with a specialization in pharmacology and a diverse subject background, including various languages and sciences. Includes drug development, safety pharmacology and drug regulation, biomedical experiments, clinical affairs, psychology, and academic research in Japanese. Skilled in communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. Particularly interested and passionate about the pharmaceutical and skincare industry.

Completed various internships at various locations and picked up on a multitude of skills. Shadowed Dr Lim Wye Leng at a dermatology clinic where I assisted Dr Lim with performing various aesthetic procedures. Also carried out a variety of administrative duties, communicated with patients, and attended meetings with product suppliers. 

Completed an internship at Nandrajog during the pandemic and gained an understanding of how virtual court cases are conducted. Also reviewed various cases and documents and was responsible for document management duties. 

Completed an internship at TransAid Solutions Sdn Bhd where I aided sales staff by interpreting scientific data and assisted with running workshops and managing inventory. Worked within a team and across teams effectively.
