In collaboration with researchers in engineering, we have used statistical and mathematical approaches intensively to reach conclusions regarding engineering problems and issues. I have developed confidence and an interest in teaching and look forward to the opportunity to both teach assigned classes and to develop my own classes. During my service, I have some administrative experience when I was head of department of science in engineering; it was a valuable time to discover how decisions are made and difficulties in running the department.
