Experience
During my time at Xiamen University Malaysia, I actively engaged in various clubs and associations, including the 24 Festive Drum Club and Campus Media Centre. Through my involvement, I discovered and honed my capabilities in journalism. Initially joining as a journalist, I wrote several Chinese articles, which led to my promotion as a column manager. In this role, I supervised a team, ensuring the delivery of insightful articles to our readers. Additionally, I actively participated in research projects with my lecturers and professors, assisting in data collection and gaining a deeper understanding of demographics. As a publicity member, I further expanded my knowledge of social media, particularly Instagram, by utilizing promoting tools to enhance audience engagement. Overall, my professional experience encompasses strong leadership, teamwork, research, and social media skills.

I completed my studies at Xiamen University Malaysia, where I gained valuable hard skills in various areas, particularly in editing and proficiency in tools like Canva and Adobe apps. Through courses such as documentary, news editing, media management, and digital video production, I acquired practical knowledge and hands-on experience. Additionally, my involvement in the journalism student council provided me with the opportunity to write news articles, enhancing my skills in both hard news and soft news writing. My keen interest in the current social media phenomenon led me to focus my thesis on the Malaysian microcelebrity issue, which allowed me to delve deeper into understanding the younger generation's voice.
