Lim Juin Wei

I am a meticulous and goal-oriented third-year Computer Engineering student, driven by a passion for technology and a hunger for knowledge. With a diverse skill set including MS Office, MATLAB, C++ and C languages, Arduino, Python, and more, I am well-equipped to tackle various technical challenges. As the Technical Director of the SOAP-PRISE Engineering Team Project and a committee member for the HashTech Arduino Workshop, I have demonstrated strong leadership and community engagement skills. Additionally, my experiences as Vice President of the IEM-UTP-SC, orientation week facilitator, and active member of the UTP Griffin E-Sport Club and Mini Hackathon showcase my commitment to teamwork and making a positive impact.

I have gained valuable professional experience through various roles and projects. In my past work experience, with a focus on delivering and transporting items efficiently, I contributed to promoting corporate efficiency and ensuring product delivery. Providing exceptional customer service by understanding their needs and offering suitable solutions has been a priority, leading to improved customer interactions and loyalty. Additionally, I have showcased my versatility by installing minor electrical fixtures to enhance workplace safety and efficiency. In terms of technical skills, I am proficient in MS Office applications, MATLAB, C++, C, Arduino, Python, R, video editing, and various metalworking techniques. My academic projects include serving as the Technical Director for the SOAP-PRISE Engineering Team Project and organizing the HashTech Arduino Workshop for community engagement. Moreover, I have demonstrated leadership qualities as the Vice President of the Institute of Engineering Malaysia UTP Student Chapter (IEM-UTP-SC) and contributed as a volunteer in various initiatives, including a Mini Hackathon.

I am currently a third-year Computer Engineering student, pursuing my undergraduate degree. Throughout my educational journey, I have gained a strong foundation in various technical and programming concepts. I have acquired proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which have proven instrumental in data analysis and documentation tasks. Furthermore, I possess expertise in programming languages such as MATLAB, C++, C, Arduino, Python, and R, enabling me to develop innovative solutions and algorithms.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, I have also gained practical skills in areas such as wiring, soldering, and working with metal sheets, demonstrating my ability to handle hands-on tasks. These skills have been further reinforced through my active involvement in academic projects, such as the IC Fabrication Process and the Dashboard Design for Visualization of Data Sets.

Overall, my education has equipped me with a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in various programming languages and tools. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to contribute effectively in a professional work environment.
