Loh Jia Yan

My name is Loh Jia Yan. Currently, I am a fresh graduate who pursued a Bachelor of Business Analytics at Sunway University.

Planning, leadership, management and coordination skills have been developed over the 3 years of my high school committee experience. With this experience, I am able to look into things in more detail and present ideas that carry the team forward when I were discussing my group projects with my teammates. Other than that, this also allows me to value the opinions of others and give them the spotlight when needed during the presentation. Besides that, building a good relationship with teammates and being able to think critically is something that I value highly as well.

Furthermore, I also have experience as a business analyst intern in an insurance company, which gave me the skills I need for designing and developing automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions. Besides, I have utilized my Excel and SQL knowledge to analyze the data and able to find out the errors. 

I have studied how to analyse the data into useful information. Furthermore, I learnt how to interpret the charts and graphs throughout the semesters. Moreover, I have established project management dashboards which integrated the procure-to-pay (P2P) process as my capstone project as known as my final year project with my teammates. I was in charge of establishing the visualization, the bridge table in the data modelling and the DAX functionality during the development stage of my project. I have experience of public speaking as I was also in charge of the role of presenter during the capstone showcase.
