including service recovery and response to negative feedback.
• Develop annual plan and budget for Ground Service and recommend for all stations in MJI
• Set high level targets on ground service-related activities e.g., turnaround time, service standards to
align with overall Company target and business plan.
• Provide perspectives and insights on global trend related to aviation industry especially on ground
• operations related; analyze trend and identify business opportunities and threats.
Senior Manager – Sats Singapore & GTR Malaysia (Sats Subsidiary) (Mar2018 –Nov2021)
• Creating and Leading a Safety Culture that is second to none.
• Responsible for overall management of daily Below the Wing activities (Ramp Operations & Technical
Engineering) and responsibilities at the Hub Level. Handle more than 300 flights a day.
• Build and maintain relationships with airline station managers, CAG, CAAS, union officials, other
airport stakeholders, and employees through professional, ethical behavior, communication and
regular visits.
• Daily operational involvement and support as inter-departmental liaison, with responsibility of
maintaining customer service standards for more than 67 customer airlines for Passenger and
Freighter aircrafts.
• Monitoring current day staffing for operational needs, schedule review and implementation, and
statistical and financial reporting and evaluation.
Group Head of Ground Operations – Air Asia, Kuala Lumpur (Mar 2016 – Feb 2018)
• Perform Ground Operations-related activities outlined within Brand Licensing Agreement and
Shareholder Agreement including going beyond to ensure the success of all AOCs (Malaysia, Thailand,
Indonesia, India, Philippines and Japan).
• Periodically assess compliance to Ground Operations-related standards and guidelines outlined in
Brand Licensing Agreement and Shareholder Agreement; develop action plans for AOCs to ensure
compliance.
• Develop annual plan and budget for Group Ground Operations and recommend on AOC’s Ground
Operations budget planning.
• Provide perspectives and insights on global trend related to aviation industry especially on ground.
