Marjan Sadat Seghayat

I am internal medicine specialist/endocrinologist, I had obtained my Doctorate of medicine (MD) in Aug 1996 and completed 4-year residency in internal medicine speciality in  Sep 2001 and consequently joined Mashhad university of medical sciences (MUMS) as internal medicine specialist. I have been granted Internal Medicine National Board certification by Iran Internal Medicine Board in  Aug 2006. In 2007, I left working in university and continued my career in private sector by focusing on endocrinology and diabetes by 2010 that I have moved to Malaysia. Following completion of two years (2011-2013) clinical fellowship in endocrinology in National University of Malaysia Medical Centre (UKM-MC); where I had chance to be co-investigator of few multicentre medical trials of Servier Malaysia and Novo Nordisk Pharma Malaysia, I joined  faculty of medicine and health sciences (FMHS) of UCSI University, where I had completed my post graduate diploma in tertiary teaching meanwhile was working as Assistant professor and head of school of healthy aging, medical aesthetics and regenerative medicine. I was actively involved in researches in this university and received National and university grants for these researches. I had been appointed as head of post graduate School of Healthy-aging, Medical Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine from Sep 2016 till April 2020.  In Jan 2021 I have been invited to join MAHSA university as Associate Professor in internal Medicine, and I started my part time attendance in Mashhad Diabetic clinic as consultant endocrinologist since June 2021.

I am internal medicine specialist/endocrinologist with more than 20 years of international experience in clinical and academic positions.
