WORK SCOPE EXPERIENCE 

• Provide support towards Medical Emergency Response at Offshore/Onshore

1. Administered first aid.
2. Managing medical supplies sick bay/site clinic. 
3. Coordinating medical evacuations in case of emergencies
4. Dealing with illness and injury that occur onsite.
5. Administering drugs, dressing wounds, checking for vital signs. 
6. contributing to occupational health and safety services & chairing health and safety meetings.
7. setting up medical evacuations where a worker must return onshore for immediate treatment.
8. communicating regularly with the Onshore Company Doctor and the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)
9. maintaining medical records & keeping a daily medical log.

• Verify and maintain health records including: 

1. Health performance records (e.g. TROIF, TSA, Monthly Health Return) 
2. Health surveillance records (e.g. audiometric test results, biological monitoring result, industrial hygiene records, etc.) 
3. Health risk assessment report (e.g. HRA, CHRA, noise exposure monitoring, etc.) 
4. Public health activities related records (e.g. portable water quality assurance and food handling and catering assurance) 

• Fitness to Work 

1. Screen, verify and maintain fitness to work medical record including pre-employment, periodic, pre-placement and medical surveillance record. 
2. Identify all workers requiring FTW and maintain an up-to-date list 
3. Track FTW compliance in accordance with the COMPANY’s FTW guideline. Provide FTW awareness. 
4. Arrange for return-to-work assessment, post illness, injuries. 

• Medical Surveillance 

1. Identify and maintain a list of all workers requiring medical surveillance as per HRA recommendation. 
2. Track medical surveillance compliance (update list) 
3. Provide medical surveillance training 
4. Collect and collate COMPANY’s medical surveillance data and submit to the relevant parties.

• Incident Classification, Investigation and Reporting 

1. Report all suspected Occupational Illness (OI) cases to COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE 
2. Assist COMPANY in OH/IH related Incident Investigation 
3. Provide summary to incident owner and HSE 
4. Assist incident owner in reporting and track closure. 
5. Provide input on occupational health matters e.g. workplace hygiene status, medical statics, employee fitness to work status, hazard exposure level, etc. 
6. Provide and participate in the medical emergency management. 
7. Screen and consolidate Offshore sick bay supplies and equipment indents for management approval on the procurement of the supplies and equipment, to ensure the clients have adequate supplies/ equipment in accordance with company requirements. 
8. Drive, participate and promote occupational health programs including healthy work culture and lifestyle through health promotion activities and initiatives. 
9. Communicate and interpret the objectives and provisions of the Codes of Conduct (COC) and HSE policies to all levels of staff. Undertake appropriate mitigation/intervention programs and sustain high staff discipline and industrial harmony. 

• Other 

1. Conduct worksite visits / walkabouts. 
2. Assist Health Risk Management (HRA) team in Site HRA. 
3. Inspect Local Cafeteria/Canteen. Assist COMPANY Health Department in Premobilization inspection of barges, vessels, and rigs in local area. Submit reports to 

• Company Representative. 

1. Inform COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE of any non-compliance to Health Standards. 
2. Submit monthly report to Management (include FTW, medical surveillance, hygiene inspection, Public Health Services, etc. 

• Industrial Hygiene Support

1. Support and assist the Industrial Hygiene to conduct and collecting of samples/data for Health Risk Assessment (HRA), Noise, Area, Personal and Biological Monitoring in workplace.
2. Managing medical surveillance for noise and chemical to the employees at workplace.
3. Communicate the outcome of the HRA & Monitoring report to the employer & employees

•  Trauma & Emergency & Critical Care

1. Ensure the provision of quality emergency medical care to patients requiring emergency treatment in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, and standard nursing practice. 
2. Perform patient assessment and nursing diagnosis. 
3. Evaluate episodic and acute responses to broad classifications of physical or psychosocial issues. 
4. Manage the planning and implementation of interventions. 
5. Coordinate patient referrals and discharge planning activities. 
6. Managed assessments, nursing diagnoses and formulation of the written plan of care. 
7. Involved in pre-hospital care services such as ambulance service, search and rescue team (SAR) and standby team.
