I’m Nazlin Ibrahim, a certified mariner of COC Class 3 500GT and above. I’m currently working as a 2nd Officer onboard Crude oil tanker with 8 Years’ experience. I would like to deviate and diverse my career to shore job.  Based on my experience as Second Officer at Eaglestar, I believe I could be a good fit. I’m a very hardworking, reliable and easy to adapt with new surrounding and work. I have a good knowledge about shipping industry, documentation and cargo related especially with crude oil related. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES (2nd Officer)

• Carry out independent navigational at sea / pilotage and cargo watch at port. 
• Responsible for voyage passage planning from one destination to another. 
• Upkeep and maintain all the updated nautical charts and publication required for the voyage. 
• Undertake all the Planned Maintenance Schedule (PMS) for bridge equipment and Global Maritime Distress Signal (GMDSS).
• In charge of the Cargo arm connect and disconnection. 
• Attend the cargo Gauging and Inspection with surveyor.
• Operate Cargo and ballast operation at port in a safest and smooth manner. 
• Monitor the vessel stability, loading and unloading progress throughout the cargo operation at port. 
• In charge of the vessel medical officer. Check all the medical inventories to comply with the marine and flag regulations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES (3rd Officer)

• Carry out independent navigational at sea / pilotage and cargo watch at port. 
• In charge, upkeep and maintain all Fire Fighting Equipment (FFE) and Life Saving Appliances (LSA) onboard vessel. Carry out periodic inspection of all the safety items. 
• In charge of the mooring and unmooring operation at port. Assess all the hazards and monitor lines operation to be carried out in a safe manner. 
• Operate Cargo and ballast operation at port in a safest and smooth manner. 
• Monitor the vessel stability, loading and unloading progress throughout the cargo operation at port. 
• Carry out GMDSS daily, weekly and monthly test including all the associated test.
