Nazziha Latif

I am Siti Nazziha Binti Abdul Latif, major graduated Diploma in Engineering Electronic (Medical) from Polytechnic Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Malaysia. Currently, I am working with one of a IHH Healthcare branch, Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu as a Biomedical Technician and I am a registered Qualified Technician by Malaysia Board of technologist.

My role as my current position is responsible to keep everyone safe while directly or indirectly contact with any medical equipment by maintaining the medical equipment all areas in the hospital and undergo Planned Preventive Maintenance as per schedule. I am also involve directly in troubleshooting and finding out the best solutions for any breakdown moreover communication skill also important while liaise with customers or external vendors for out-sourcing. I am also personally responsible to plan refreshing training for medical equipment  among the end-user, mostly of refreshing training  will be given by myself.

In addition for my 4 years experience, I involved directly from initial until the end of major project. For example, I am involve in part replacement such as absorber, table power supply, cold head and helium refill for our hospital's MRI, Magnetom Aera. Also, I involved in tube replacement for our Angiogram Allura Xper Fd20 and CT scan Aquilion Prime.

Furthermore, I am also responsible to keep an eye for department budget, training hours and contract with external vendor for hospital's in Biomedical department.

I am a dedicated and hardworking individual who is committed and ready enough to experience new environment with new challenge in developing my career journey. I can ensure that I am a fast leaner person who can work solo with minimal supervision or play a role as a team and very open to any discussion for better output.

TECHNICIAN IN BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

• Responsible in maintaining medical equipment in all areas in the hospital
• Involve directly in troubleshooting and finding out the possible solution for breakdown
• Perform in-house Planned Preventive Maintenance of medical equipment and liaise with external vendor for out-sourcing.

• Personal involve and arrange for Helium liquid refill and Gradient coil replacement for Magnetom Aera.
