I have previously done an internship whereby my role was more than just an intern as it was a small Litigation firm. I indeed have learnt heaps in that firm and have handled numerous Family matters (entire Affidavit exchange process, Custody applications and etc). 

The firm practised mostly Criminal and Family cases with some Civil (such as the defamation case between YB Prabakaran and Edmund Santhara) and I had the opportunity to learn as much as I could in that 1.5 years. I did a pretty long internship as I delayed my CLP sitting from 2022 to 2023..

While awaiting for my results, I decided to explore being a Legal Executive and am now one in a Corporate company. Being here has taught me, amongst other things, lots on documentation (variety of Agreements, etc) and client relationships.
