Nomishaa Riena

My name is Nomishaa Riena A/P Dominic, I am a fourth-year student in Bachelor of Computer Science (Graphics & Multimedia Technology) (HONS.) from the University Malaysia Pahang, Pekan.

In order to complete our UMP curricular structure, we are required to go for our internship from 14 August 2023 until 26 January 2024. Correspondingly, I'm currently looking for an opening for an intern position.

The purpose of an internship is to gain more knowledge and experience. I studied programming and have an I have a keen interest in learning more about graphic technology. I consider myself skilful in the majority of graphical design fields, including computer graphics and game design, having used this technique to develop a virtual reality application for my final year project. 
 

During my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience in various roles. I started by working part-time as a tearista at Tealive from August 2022 to September 2022, where I honed my customer service and beverage preparation skills. Following that, I worked as a cashier at Aeon Maxvalue from June 2022 to August 2022, further strengthening my attention to detail and cash handling abilities.

Prior to these roles, I worked as a receptionist at the Indian Visa Center from May 2019 to September 2019. In this position, I developed excellent communication and organizational skills while managing inquiries and maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors.

Additionally, I briefly worked as an assistant teacher at St Mary Kindergarden from March 2019 to May 2019, which allowed me to engage with students, assist in classroom activities, and contribute to their educational development.

Through these experiences, I have acquired a diverse skill set that includes customer service, cash handling, organization, communication, and teamwork. I am eager to leverage my skills and continue growing professionally in a challenging and dynamic environment.

I completed my secondary education by pursuing the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) at SMK Seremban 2 from 2012 to 2016, with a focus on accounting. Afterward, I continued my studies at SMK King George V for the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) program from 2017 to 2018, specializing in business.

Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Graphic & Multimedia Technology at the University Malaysia Pahang. As of now, I am still studying and actively engaging in coursework related to computer science, graphic design, and multimedia technology.

By combining my educational background in accounting, business, and computer science, I am developing a diverse skill set that blends technical expertise with creative design. I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge in these fields and applying my skills to real-world projects.
