A recent graduate from the National University of Malaysia with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. I'm currently honing my skills as an Accounts Payable Intern at SLB.

Previously, I had the privilege to intern at SCA Consulting, where I gained hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, and tax. This experience improved my understanding of financial processes and allowed me to hone my analytical and problem-solving skills.

Currently, I am undergoing my internship at SLB as an accounts payable intern. My responsibilities typically involve assisting with various tasks related to financial operations. Such as reviewing and verifying incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness. This may include matching invoices with purchase orders. Besides, I also assist in resolving any discrepancies or mismatched invoices. This may involve communicating with suppliers or other departments (treasury) to gather additional information and resolve any issues. Other than that, maintain organized and accurate records of invoices, payment documents, and other related accounts payable. Some more, I also provide support and assistance to my team as needed.

Previously, I had the privilege to intern at SCA Consulting Sdn. Bhd. in accounts, audit and taxation. In this firm, my responsibility is to assist the department in carrying out auditing, accounting and tax works. In auditing, I perform statutory audits at secretary offices and field audits at clients offices to collect sampling of documents. Besides, I prepare working papers and spreadsheets for income statements and balance sheet items based on management accounts and samples collected. I also prepare audit adjustments if required and send permanent and current audit files to the audit manager for review. After the review process, if an amendment is needed. I would do the amendments of audit working papers and drafts after the review process. In accounting work, I perform data entry of bank statements, sales invoices, purchases documents, expenses invoices, and other documents of companies and enterprises into accounting software such as MYOB and Quickbooks. Besides, I prepare and summarize full set management accounts such as (Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit or Loss, and General Ledger). Basically, our clients will bring their own documents to the office. So, we would start doing accounting work. And for tax work, I assist in preparation of Company tax computation based on management accounts. Register company tax number. Prepare authorization form and related documentation for application of e-Filing PIN Number at Malaysian Tax Return Agency. After getting the e-filing number, I filled in the application form for Company e-Filing PIN Number. And I also do submission of Company tax return form (Form C) based on tax computation. 

I am currently a final year student at the National University of Malaysia, majoring in accounting. I am expected to graduate in November 2023.
