Had a mock interview with PakTam last week and I would say, I have gained new knowledge and tricks on how to excel in job interview. He shared with us that job interview is the same as having the first date

But thinking back, actually its a good psychology trick to control our nervous.

"When you are having first date, what would you do? Greetings, know the context of what you want to say/ask. Do not jump into shocking questions like 'bila nak ajak kahwin'"

By which PakTam actually summarize that sometimes we tend to be very nervous on job interview that usually we jumbled up everything at once without structuring our sentence.

Hence, PakTam emphasize few points which includes:

1. Prepare yourself before the interview - by meaning that everything that we are going to share with the panels should be align with our resume.

2. Structures of the story - Make sure
to tell the panels on what we are going to tell instead of rushing from one point to another point.

3. Always ask questions at the end of the interview - Ask questions regarding the job that you applied for instead of compensation or benefits they can offer because the interview is for the panels to get to know you. Eg: "What are their expectations on us? What is the difficulties or challenges regarding the work"

My groupmates and I had a great time with PakTam on this morning session. We had a great exposure and experience where we may not received it from others. Thank you for the knowledge and spending your time with us PakTam!
