I had been in the upstream palm oil plantation industry for over 48 years and served at various management levels from field Conductor, Manager, Senior Manager, Group Manager, and General Manager. I had been working in various estates in Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Indonesia. At present, I am working as a General Manager in Riau, Indonesia; in charge of 30,000 hectares of immature and mature oil palm plantation (this company is now in voluntary Liquidations).

I have vast knowledge and experience in Oil Palm estate operation inclusive of water management in mineral and peat soil, Pest and Disease, field upkeep, maintenance and harvesting, new planting, nursery management, replanting of oil palm, rubber, cocoa, and coconut. Plantation Budget preparation and operational cost management.

7. Plantation progress reporting to the Directors and shareholders. Attending meetings with the Board of Directors.
8. Providing technical assistance to the plantation whenever needed.

This company was there (Mindanao) to set up an oil palm plantation of 100,000 hectares. I was directly responsible to set up an oil palm nursery of 1.5 million seedlings. Due to the problem in acquiring land for the plantation, the company backs off from there abandoning the one year old nursery.
