Roman Mondol

I am Roman Mondol, a graduate Mechanical Engineer (specializing in Mechanical Aeronautics) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. I possess theoretical and practical knowledge in Aerodynamics, Aircraft design, and more. During internships and part-time work, I gained technical expertise in aircraft maintenance and inventory management, discovering my mental strength and confidence. My passion for learning led me to excel in various individual and group projects, honing my communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Proficient in software like MS Office, SOLIDWORKS, MATLAB, and more, I aim to secure a challenging role in a reputed organization to further expand my knowledge and skills. 

Internship Experience
I have completed my first internship in a flying academy named “ATAS Aeronautik Sdn Bhd”.  I strongly believe all of my knowledge will contribute to this position.

1. Conducting pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness and safety.
2. Performing post-flight inspections to identify and report any issues or concerns.
3. Proficiently executing aircraft marshalling duties in adherence to established protocols.
4. Collaborating with engineers to facilitate aircraft maintenance procedures effectively.

Part-time job

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Efficiently handled order reception, meticulously verifying the accuracy of received orders.
2. Conducted comprehensive price audits to ensure precise alignment between item costs and transaction amounts.
3. Demonstrated meticulousness by accurately updating the database post-receipt and delivery of items.

During my studies, I have completed Aerodynamics, Applied Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, Control Engineering, Engineering Mathematics, Machines and Vibrations, Manufacturing Process, Mechanics of Solids, Mechanics of Fluids, etc.Apart from my studies, I’ve participated in over 90 activities, including careers, sports, innovation, cultural, academic, volunteer, and leadership.  Although I was an international student in my department, I managed to be an extrovert with all my Malaysian and International friends which helped me to overcome the cultural and language barrier.
