Shaqireen Kamal

I am an enthusiastic Statistical Data Science graduate with a passion for all things statistics and visualizing. As an avid problem-solver, I thrive on tackling challenging analytical tasks and using statistical techniques to forecast future trends. 

This is going to be my first professional career. While I don't have direct professional experience, my academic journey at Heriot-Watt University has provided me with a strong foundation and practical exposure to real-world scenarios. I have also actively sought opportunities to apply my knowledge through extracurricular projects, allowing me to demonstrate my ability to solve problems and deliver results. I am eager to apply my academic expertise and continue learning in a professional setting, contributing to the success of the team and organization.
 

I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Statistical Data Science at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained a strong foundation in modern statistics such as data analysis techniques and regression modeling. The courses has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of statistical methods, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Through these courses, I have developed proficiency in  using programming languages such as SQL, R and Python. 

I have also undertaken projects that have allowed me to apply my knowledge in practical settings. These projects have involved building dashboards, developing SQL queries, and working with real-world datasets to solve analytical problems. 

 I am confident that this educational background has prepared me well for a career in statistical data science and will enable me to make valuable contributions in this field.
