Siam Jia Quan

I was born in Malaysia in 1997 and I studied in the Faculty of Science and Natural Resources of University of Malaysia Sabah (UMS) from 2018 to 2021. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Geology Programme with 3.42 CGPA. Few months after graduation, I enrolled in MSc Petroleum Geoscience Programme in University of Technology PETRONAS (UTP) and finished my master programme last year, 2022 with 3.30 CGPA.

Project: The Formal Safety Inspection for Telibong II Off River Storage (ORS) (Tamparuli), Milau Dam (Kudat) & Betotan Dam (Sandakan), Sabah

• Conducted 10 number of resistivity survey lines with the length of 200 meters and not more than 400 meters in length depend on area available. 
• Reviewed and interpreted Soil Investigation data (Borehole).
• Processed and analysed the data and produce the subsurface profile.
• Correlating resistivity and borehole data.
• Interpreting the occurrences of highly water content, weathered material and fresh rocks in subsurface profile.
• Reporting of the findings. 

Project: Mapping of Kundasang, Sabah

ArcGIS  

• Mapped the drainage map of Kundasang.
• Mapped the earthquake event map of Kundasang.
• Mapped the geological map of Kundasang.
• Mapped the base map of Kundasang.
• Mapped the soil map of Kundasang. 
• Mapped the topographic map of Kundasang.
