Suraya Arifin

I am so good at baking and talking and doing both at the same time. I am so passionate about what i am currently doing and i am aiming to go as far as possible and achieve all of my dreams. Being a mother doesn’t stop me from doing what i love and what i’ve been dreaming to become. I am strong and mindful and able to do things without supervision.

I am a Maritime Management graduate with experience in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE). I started my career as an HSSE Assistant at Orkim Ship Management and then as a Safety Assistant at Tiama Marine Industries. I later worked as a barista at Starbucks, focusing on customer service. Most recently, I served as a Banquet Coordinator at the Palace of The Golden Horses Hotel, where I managed events and supervised staff.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts at UITM Shah Alam, Selangor, while holding a Diploma in Maritime Management from Ranaco Education and Training Institute, where I studied marine terminology, ship operations, marine safety, and related subjects. I also completed various certifications, including Basic Safety Training, Tanker Familiarization, Basic Rigging & Slinging, Basic Fire Watch, and Computer Basic Learning at the same institute.
