A competent junior engineer with 2 years of experience in Structural Physical Design in the field of Semiconductor. Looking for a challenging role in a reputed company to utilize my engineering skillset that can contribute to the company's growth as well as enhance my knowledge by exploring new things.In addition, I hold a Master of Science in Telecommunication and Information Engineering and hold a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering with a first class. 

I have worked as a System on Chip (SoC) Physical Design Engineer with 2 years of experience in Structural Physical Design in the field of Semiconductor at Intel Microelectronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. I am specialized in physical design flow Place and Route from pre-netlist, GDSII generated, to post-layout verification. I have involved in test chip project in 5nm TSMC design technology as Partition Execution Owner (PEO), design complex blocks from RTL to GDSII flow to complete physical implementation. I have handled and delivered 4 blocks in a project with ~4M gates count hierarchical blocks. I have experienced in logic synthesis, timing constraint development, auto place and route, floor-planning, CTS, routing, DRC, LVS closure and provided feedback based on RTL synthesis. I have experienced in back-end verification flows like STA, FEV and low power verification. To enhance timing convergence, I have explored PT_ECO and Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation. I also have optimized macro placement and port placement to have a better floorplan arrangement. In addition, I have experienced in netlist DFT insertion. Other than that, I have experienced in using EDA tools like Synopsys, Fusion Compiler and PrimeTime. I also have experienced by using Cheetah2 tool flow and familiar with Linux operating system.
 

In addition to my experience, I hold a Master of Science in Telecommunication and Information Engineering and hold a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering with a first class. I have a good knowledge and experience in scripting language like C++, csh, Tcl, Perl and Python.
