Hi, my name is COCO Ang Sze En (Malaysian).

Seeking a veterinary technician or assistant position at Singapore or Malaysia.

I just graduated with a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from National Chiayi University in Taiwan. Striving to obtain a veterinary license of Taiwan next year. Highly passionate about animal care and treatment, eager to improve my expertise and practical skills while assisting veterinary professionals.

Poultry Industry Management Associate at OK EGGS Company Limited, Taiwan (Jan - Apr 2023)

  • Strictly followed the criteria and operation of the poultry industry such as clean-up and sterilization during the outbreak period of Avian Influenza.
  • Accomplished dietary and nutritional plans over 50,000 chickens to reach optimal weight and increase egg production.
  • Observed the behavior of poultry and ensured the feed and ventilation systems work properly.
  • Monitored weather conditions and adjusted strategies accordingly.
  • Updated records with data about daily intake, mortality and productivity of poultry.

 

Internship

Student intern at National Chiayi University Veterinary Teaching Hospital (Jan - June 2022)

  • Assisted veterinarians during examinations, radiographs and treatment, while restraining animals as needed.
  • Collected blood, urine or skin samples, performed microscope slides and laboratory tests.
  • Monitored animal behaviors and health conditions, promptly reporting to the vet.
  • Provided detailed medication instructions and essential follow-up care to the pet owner.

Student intern at Tainan Wanli Animal Shelter (July 2020)

  • Based on my daily routines, involved cleaning cages, feeding over 100 animals and intervening to prevent conflicts among dogs. So, I learned how to observe and get the message from their behavior. 
  • I also participated in numerous training, such as administering vaccines, deworming, basic treatment and neutering surgery. 
  • I actively engaged in adoption processes. I am thrilled to have been part of the effort to provide a better living condition for these stray animals.
