Vivekanandh Mathiyalagan

Diligent National University of Malaysia (UKM) graduate specialising in Audiology from the Faculty of Health Sciences. My educational background combined with experience in patient-oriented care in the healthcare industry and sufficient knowledge of managing hearing aids with the latest technology which allow me to have good customer-audiologist relationship and to address customers’ primary concern. I am equipped with good leadership and management skills in event or project organization. This gives an opportunity for me to provide effective solutions in expanding my personal & company’s growth.

During my studies, I had multiple clinical postings such as at the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital (HKL) and Children’s Hospital of UKM (HPKK), and at UKM’s Audiology Clinic. I had the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in conducting comprehensive audiological evaluations, creating individualized treatment plans, and fitting and programming hearing aids for patients of diverse backgrounds and age groups. For instance, I was exposed to multiple hearing aid brands, especially under the Sonova company such as the Phonak and Unitron. Other brands such as Signia, GN Resound, and Oticon were also introduced during my clinical years. Apart from that, I attended my clinical internship at a private hearing care center, a 20dB Hearing Center for a month period, and was equipped with more than 300 clinical hours before graduating.
