Yap Sau Fong

I'm Yap Sau Fong at the age of 46 years. I'm staying at Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam, Selangor.  I'm married with one kid.

I am ACCA graduated and MIA member since year 2005. I have been working more than 15 years of experience in setting up and managing accounting department with extensive experience in preparing a full set of accounting , treasury , working capital management, credit management and financial reporting. I'm able to work independently without any supervision.

At the present, I'm collaborating with a account firm on doing the freelance accounting job since year 2019.

I'm looking for part time or freelance accounting job to have more flexible time for my family.

1. Oscar Consulting PLT ( Present) Position: Partner

• Collaboration with the accounting firm to do freelance accounting jobs

 2. Chemopharm Sdn Bhd ( Mar, 2012 to Feb, 2019)  Position: Finance Manager

• Lead and guide the accounts department on day to day operations, inventory management, setting department's directions and plans in line with the company's business strategy.
• Manage monthly and quarterly closing process to ensure timely submission of reports to management.
• Review and provide detailed analysis of the management reports for management decision making.
• Set up SOP for operation workflow to emphasize on effective internal controls and operation efficiency.
• SAP B1 implementation for new company.
• Prepare yearly budget and quarterly forecast
• Involve corporate finance exercise ( ie: acquisition of companies).
• Managing and minimizing foreign exchange exposure by way of forex hedging.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly GST report
• Liaise with auditors, tax agent, bankers, legal advisor and government related agencies.

3. Brother International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd ( Jul,2007 to Feb 2012)   Position: Finance & Admin Manager

1.  Graduated with ACCA ( Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in year 2003.
2.  Graduated in Advanced diploma in Financial Accounting at Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman in year 1998.
