- Provide specific occupational-related safety and health training and continuous medical education (CME) to hospital staff
- Implementing occupational safety and health policies in compliance with existing local OSH regulations
- Conduct the hospital's needlestick injury notification and investigation programme
- Investigate and submit report on workplace injuries and violence to Ministry of Health (NADOPOD)
- Assist departments in conducting workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control (HIRARC) and implement necessary workplace improvements
- Coordinate and facilitate cooperation to resolve OSH compliance irregularities
- Provide monthly analysis and returns on OSH-related incidence to the State Health Department
- Assist the hospital director as needed in occupational safety and health-related matters
