Zulaikha Zaki

An ambitious and passionate Computer Science Student from Universiti Sains Malaysia. I am seeking an internship opportunity to apply knowledge and skills for continuous improvement

As a student, I actively involved myself in extracurricular activities. From October 2022 to August 2023, I served as the Assistant Head of the Community Engagement Division at the Computer Science Society, USM, where I monitored the welfare of School of Computer Sciences students and organized community programs such as Computer Science Buddies. Concurrently, as the Head of the Sponsorship & Exhibition Department for the Computer Science Internship & Recruitment Fair 2022, I successfully sought sponsorship and exhibitors from companies, managed data for publication, and utilized HTML emails and Microsoft Power Automate. Additionally, I played a key role as the Assistant Head of the Programme Department for Varsity Hackhaton 2023, planning and hosting side events, communicating with external speakers, and managing event rehearsals. In terms of accomplishments, I was the second runner-up in the Axiata Digital Leaders Programme for Girls, where I gained proficiency in Amazon Web Services, cybersecurity, and network security through a hackathon. Furthermore, I secured a spot in the Top 15 projects at BizMaker 2022, showcasing my talent, creativity, and innovation in entrepreneurship. I also participated in FuelAsia 2022 by Futurize, an international online hackathon focused on SDG-3, Good Health & Wellbeing, broadening my knowledge and fostering global connections in the software and healthcare domains.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a major in Software Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, since October 2021, with a current GPA of 3.32. Prior to this, I completed my Foundation in Physical Science at Kolej MARA Kulim, Kedah, from 2020 to 2021, achieving a GPA of 3.83 and a MUET (Malaysian University English Test) Band 4. My academic journey began with the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) at Sekolah Menengah Sains Kepala Batas from 2015 to 2019, where I excelled with 9A grades.
