- Leads and manages the regional function of transportation management including budgets for transportation.
- Setting the organization, governance of customs operations in Asia Pacific
- Leads and drive the development, implementation, and management of transportation strategies and capabilities for the regional logistics and supply chain organization,
- Develops new initiatives and programs that align with company's standards and strategies to establish competitive advantages in the fields of transport.
- Establishment of make or buy decisions, tender activities, provider selection and implementation, complaint and performance management for transport.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of the function and use key performance indicators to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining customer quality and service.
- Establish close relations with operations, supply chain, logistics and corporate functions to ensure cross functional collaboration and communication.
- Coach, train and mentor direct or indirect reports, provide career development opportunities though training and quality management activities.
- Develop and execute policies, plans, and programs to meet anticipated organizational needs in the areas of functional responsibility.
- Definition of concepts in regards of continuous improvements and cost reduction efforts for transport
- Identifies and analyses market trends that correlate with transport.
- Establishes partnerships with external suppliers for transportation.
- Tracking of the relevant quality KPIs and active control of measures in case of undesirable developments
- Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated business development goals and objectives.
- Key contact person for the Corporate Risk Management team to work on the action plan on the risk happened within AP region.
- University degree in Business with a focus on logistics or equivalent educational background.
- 5-8 years of management experience and expertise in logistics or Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Extensive knowledge in supply chain management, logistics, project management, process management, strategy development, digitalization, SAP, MS Office, and Power BI.
- Proficient in business English, both verbal and written.
- Strong intercultural skills, self-initiative, analytical acumen, a sense of urgency, and international experience.
- Solid understanding of system operations and material flow processes.
- Openness to travel as required.
