- Lead and manage a team of engineers, architects and specialists to execute engineering projects efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee the conceptualization, design, and development of pharmaceutical facilities, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks in engineering designs and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects are delivered on budget without compromising quality.
- Establish and enforce quality control processes to maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical design and engineering to ensure the safety and regulatory compliance our engineering designs.
- Manage project stakeholders and keep relevant parties informed on project status and cost.
- Stay up to date with pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards, ensuring that all designs and projects meet the necessary compliance requirements.
- Promote and implement innovative engineering solutions to improve efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical processes.
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineering team members, fostering their professional growth and technical expertise.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and progress updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs experts, to ensure holistic project success.
- Provide engineering input into project proposals, bidding and review of contracts and specifications.
- Comply with and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the Synertec Quality Management System and Company Values
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical facility design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Able to identify project requirements and deliver practical engineering solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in communication with colleagues and clients, both oral and written.
- Able to confidently to interact with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical and/or highly complex industrial facility design and construction.
- Familiarity with GMP principles and practices.
