    Role Responsibilities

    Strategy

  • Undertaking the role as Global Account Manager (GAM), to establish, develop and manage client relationships.
  • Establish and implement client strategy, that is aligned to corporate plan.
  • Working with Field Account Managers (FAMs) and product partners to originate and execute deals in a competitive and timely manner.
  • Deliver financial performance as per scorecard and divisional strategy.
  • Business & Processes

  • Deliver financial performance as per corporate plan, including deepening of clients' wallets, meeting franchise income, RWA targets and return hurdles.
  • Timely and efficient execution of client account strategy.
  • Deepen, broaden and maintain client relationships, locally and collaborating with Field Account Managers (FAMs) across the network (where applicable) for own portfolio.
  • Work with product partners (where applicable) to deliver solutions for clients.
  • Seek capital allocation as necessary based on appropriate returns.
  • Drive utilization, digitization and cross-sell capital lite products/ services, for better capital efficiency.
  • Actively engage with clients and manage the risk associated with the portfolio, preventing and minimizing credit losses.
  • Perform periodic credit evaluation and review on portfolio, with active monitoring of credit parameters and/or risk triggers.Ensure timely credit reviews and escalation upon identification of red flag(s) or credit stress.
  • Review and address excess/past due (when arise) to ensure timely escalation to appropriate stakeholders (as necessary) and monitor regularization.
  • Ensure appropriate client and/or factory visits to keep abreast of material developments and for better understanding of clients' business model with timely logging of call reports.
  • Undertake all facility documentation and/or security creation (as required) ensuring timely execution.Liaising with internal and/or external counsel and CMT in preparation and execution of documentation.
  • Work with CMT to ensure timely review and/or completion of Client Due Diligence (CDD).
  • Handle operational documentation and processes to facilitate facility utilisation, repayment and/or facility termination, including preparation and/or performance of periodic reviews of EAF and product pricing.

  • Qualifications

    Training, licenses, memberships and certifications

  • University Graduate. A degree in Banking or Finance is preferred.
  • Ideally 7+ years of relevant experience in serving commercial/ corporate clients.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and ability to assess client creditworthiness and key risk considerations/ mitigation. A sound understanding of environmental and socials risks would be preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of commercial/ corporate banking products/ procedures as well as a good understanding of local and regional business drivers would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to promote good teamwork, collaboration and management of conflict across stakeholders
  • Fluent in spoken & written English.
