    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Process Engineer to join our esteemed oil and gas consultant company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The successful candidate will lead and oversee process engineering activities for both onshore and offshore projects, with a focus on delivering exceptional results to our clients. This is a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company. Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning) projects is essential, and experience in FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) and FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas) projects will be advantageous.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Project Leadership:
    2. Lead and manage process engineering activities for onshore and offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
    3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
    4. Process Design and Optimization:
    5. Develop process designs, simulations, and calculations for various oil and gas facilities, including production platforms, FPSOs, LNG plants, and refineries.
    6. Optimize process configurations to maximize efficiency, productivity, and safety.
    7. EPC/EPCIC Project Support:
    8. Provide expert support to EPC and EPCIC projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive engineering solutions.
    9. Ensure that process designs meet project objectives and regulatory requirements.
    10. Client Engagement:
    11. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
    12. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns related to process engineering.
    13. Technical Review and Assurance:
    14. Conduct technical reviews of process engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
    15. Identify and mitigate risks associated with process design and implementation.
    16. Continuous Improvement:
    17. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process engineering.
    18. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the process engineering team, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC/EPCIC projects.
    • Experience in FPSO and FLNG projects will be advantageous.
    • Strong knowledge of process design, simulation, and optimization.
    • Proficiency in process engineering software and tools.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
