Position Overview:
As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of the machinery within our clients fertiliser plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on fertiliser, chemical, oil, and gas plants. The successful candidate will be a technical authority, expected to share and enhance best practices while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Conduct reliability assessments and implement strategies to improve machinery performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment issues.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Analyse equipment failure data and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability.
Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement effective solutions.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers.
Provide technical expertise and support to plant operations and maintenance teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position within the fertiliser, chemical, oil, or gas industry.
Proven expertise in reliability engineering principles and practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
