Junior Interior Designer - Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur - YJ Design Studio

Description

To work closely with the design team to develop / demonstrate the following skills :

• Attending project briefing meetings to assist with gaining relevant information to take the project forward.
• Meeting with external representatives to see new products and materials and feeding information back to the design team.
• Assisting with the preparation of concepts, mood boards, preliminary and final designs, and development of detailed design pack, including the procurement materials and products suitable for commercial / residential use.
• To produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD (or similar).
• To produce 3D visualizations using 3Ds Max / SketchUp.
• Produce presentations and visuals using Microsoft Powerpoint & Photoshop (or similar).
• Site visits to assist at meetings or carry out surveys.
• Assist in developing detailed designs and choosing materials and products with commercial suitability for projects.
• Work efficiently to tight deadlines and manage your own time effectively.
• Gain experience in dealing with clients, contractors and other suppliers in a highly professional manner.
