    Description
    • Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the Groups overall objectives.
    • Overseeing the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and accounting standards.
    • Leading the budgeting process, providing financial projections, and regularly reviewing financial forecasts to support decision-making and goal attainment.
    • Identifying and managing financial risks faced by the Group implementing strategies to mitigate these risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Liaising with internal audit team and support internal audit processes, facilitating timely reviews and resolutions of identified issues; developing and implementing financial controls, policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
    • Engaging with shareholders, analysts, and investors, providing financial insights, and ensuring transparency and clarity in financial communications.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and Bursa Malaysias rules and guidelines.
    • Collaborating with other senior executives to formulate strategic plans, evaluating investment opportunities, and assessing the financial impact of various business decisions; supporting the Group MD/Group CEO on any and all business expansion/diversification efforts and corporate exercises.
    • Managing cash flow, liquidity, and financial investments to optimize returns while ensuring the availability of funds for operational needs.
    • Overseeing tax planning strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and optimizing the Groups tax position.
    • Establishing and maintaining robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Group MD/Group CEO.


    Requirements

    • Certified Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
    • At least 10 years of relevant working experience, including at least 5 years in a public listed company in the capacity of a senior finance officer.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
    • Familiar with Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia.
    • Experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
