A well-established Malaysian public listed company operating in a diverse sector is seeking a Head of Corporate Planning and Treasury. If you have at least 15 years of work experience with a majority of time spent within corporate finance and strategy within Malaysian PLCs and is willing to be part of a company which has a hands-on approach and culture, this role is right for you.

About the Head of Corporate Planning and Treasury Role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be leading the corporate finance, investment, and treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop yearly budgets and long-term business plans, integrating financial capital strategies to align with overall objectives
• Coordinate with department heads to plan key resources in line with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach
• Conduct regular reviews of budgets, including cash flow management to support business operations and new investments
• Prepare comprehensive business valuations, return analyses, and financial models for projects and investments to inform decision-making
• Contribute to the development and execution of corporate strategies, engaging in activities to support strategic initiatives and optimise investment performance
• Prepare management and board papers and sustainability reports to communicate corporate exercises and investment performance effectively

To succeed in this role, you must have at least 15 years of work experience with a majority spent in corporate finance and strategy in public listed companies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy/finance or professional qualifications
• Strong stakeholder engagement and is willing to roll up sleeves
• Meticulous, independent, organised and ability to interact at all levels
