- Provide technical assistance on equipment start-ups, installation and repair of compressed air systems, including "hands-on" work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirements.
- Daily travel to customer sites, occasional overtime, and sporadic on-call emergency service is required to meet customers' needs.
- Document service and installation activities by completing work orders for each job, maintenance checklist and daily time sheets.
- Maintain rapport with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques and recommending system improvements.
- Work with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs.
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2-3 years in service experience, preferably in the air compressor industry
- Valid Driver's License & GDL License
- Knowledge on compressed air systems will be added advantage
- Strong player who is analytical, self-motivated and customer-oriented
- Able to work independently
- Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers
- Able to read wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment
- Based in Ipoh and able to travel for servicing work
