Mobile Developer - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Glints

Description

We are looking for technology-leading professionals to drive e-commerce and e-payment projects on behalf of our prestigious client in the e-payment industry. This is a remote position based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for architecture design, developing, building, and maintaining Financial and E-Commerce on mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
• Analyse, design, develop, and deploy native mobile applications according to business requirements (iOS and Android).
• Cooperate with the team to design the UX/UI of applications.
• Engage with the team in an Agile-based environment.
• Optimize, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot bugs, and improve application responsiveness.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Build reusable code, patterns, and libraries for future development using best practices.
• Cooperate with back-end developers to ensure apps are aligned.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Mobile Technologies, i.e., app architecture and state management.
• Min. 2 years of experience in developing and deploying mobile applications.
• BS/ MS degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science or other related subjects.
• Fluent in Chinese Mandarin or Cantonese.
• Good communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• A demonstrated ability to adopt new software engineering methodologies.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in Flutter.
• Have published at least 1 Flutter app into the Play Store or Appstore.
• Knowledge of Git and experience in using GitLab / GitHub.
• Experience with state management using Flutter libraries (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod).
• Experienced in Financial and E-Commerce will be a plus.
• Developing a flutter plugin by bridging Android and iOS is a plus.
