- Oversee and mentor the accounts team, ensuring they receive adequate guidance and coaching.
- Guarantee the adherence to month-end closing timelines, including the prompt submission of all necessary reports.
- Conduct verification of accounting entries, journal vouchers, and the monthly accounts prepared by team members.
- Manage the preparation for year-end audits and tax schedules, coordinating with auditors and tax agents on statutory requirements.
- Uphold compliance with all financial and accounting regulations as mandated by relevant authorities.
- Ensure accurate and on-time financial reporting in alignment with MFRS, group policies, and regulations.
- Evaluate the financial impact of new accounting standards before their implementation.
- Facilitate communication with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
- Undertake any other tasks or projects as directed by Management.
Job Requirements: - At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in the property development sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, systems, and internal controls.
- Familiarity with software is considered a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrates teamwork, integrity, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Independent, self-driven, with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibits leadership, organizational, and planning capabilities.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating enthusiasm, commitment, and a results-driven attitude.
