    Description

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and mentor the accounts team, ensuring they receive adequate guidance and coaching.
  • Guarantee the adherence to month-end closing timelines, including the prompt submission of all necessary reports.
  • Conduct verification of accounting entries, journal vouchers, and the monthly accounts prepared by team members.
  • Manage the preparation for year-end audits and tax schedules, coordinating with auditors and tax agents on statutory requirements.
  • Uphold compliance with all financial and accounting regulations as mandated by relevant authorities.
  • Ensure accurate and on-time financial reporting in alignment with MFRS, group policies, and regulations.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of new accounting standards before their implementation.
  • Facilitate communication with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
  • Undertake any other tasks or projects as directed by Management.
    Job Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in the property development sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, systems, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with software is considered a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrates teamwork, integrity, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Independent, self-driven, with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exhibits leadership, organizational, and planning capabilities.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating enthusiasm, commitment, and a results-driven attitude.
