    Description

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitor, maintain and manage Servers and Infrastructure services operating on those servers. Infrastructure services include: Group Policy, Anti-virus systems, DLP, Databases, Active Directory, Exchange Mail, File services, Terminal Services, IT Scanning, O365 and web servers.
    • Ensure that the servers are designed appropriately based on Availability and Capacity plans i.e. with appropriate performance and up-time applicable for the Service Level Agreements.
    • Participate in design, implementation and enhancement of servers and Infrastructure services set-up and configuration.
    • Monitor server and infrastructure services. Manage the event log and take remedial action.
    • Prepare capacity and availability trends and reports for analysis.
    • Design and implement housekeeping routines. Monitor system and infrastructure service logs.
    • Ensure that backup operations are executed and completed. Ensure the integrity of backup operations periodically. Restore from backup as required.
    • Design and implement batch job management routines. Ensure that batch jobs are scheduled optimally and manage failed batch jobs.
    • Design and implement print queue management routines.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Computer, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
    • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Proficiency in installing, configuring and troubleshooting core Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019), clusters, physical, virtual servers, remote desktop service (terminal servers) and database (SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL).
    • Deep knowledge in Exchange Server On-premise 2013 and 2019 and architecture.
    • Solid understanding of virtualization and clustering concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP and IIS & SFTP.
    • Develop, implement, maintain, and ensure adherence to CSC IT support procedures.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
    • Provide servers and mailing enhancements in order to ensure high availability for customer environments.
    • Familiarity with monitoring tools and technologies.
    • Must have experience in managing L2 issues.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work with urgency sense being proactive and organized.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
    • Open to support permanently in Brazil working hours.
    • Open for stand-by on demand and to attend meetings at crisis moment.
    • Open for business travel to Brazil.

    GOOD TO HAVE:

    • Deep Exchange Mail knowledge.
    • Knowledge in Hyperconvergency infrastructure.
    • Disaster Recovery process experience.
