Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering)

Bachelor's degree in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in physical design implementation
Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design principles.
Strong understanding of physical design flow, verification and validation methodologies
Capable to lead and execute in a tight schedule environment and ability to work in a team environment and participate in cross-functional activities
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Travel may be required for design reviews and collaboration with global teams

Tasks & responsibilities

Perform full chip, block level floorplan & integration, power grid floorplan, I/O planning, place & route, clock tree synthesis and timing closure
Collaborating with other members of the design team, such as circuit designers and verification engineers, to achieve optimal circuit performance.
Optimizing circuit layout for performance, power consumption, area, and manufacturability.
Experience in physical design methodologies and flow automation
Proficient in using CAD tools such as Cadence Encounter/Innovus, Synopsys IC Compiler, PrimeTime, StarRC etc.
Perform power analysis, static timing analysis and reliability verification.
Staying up to date with the latest developments in physical design tools, methodologies, and process technologies
