    Primary Duty

    The Manager of IT Infrastructure & Hardware is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's comprehensive IT hardware and infrastructure technologies. This role includes incorporating AI technologies to enhance network, private cloud, data centre, car park and theme park IT systems, and more.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and implement an IT infrastructure strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, including the integration of AI solutions where applicable.

    AI Integration:

    • Lead the incorporation of AI technologies to enhance areas such as security, performance optimization, predictive maintenance, and user experience across the company's IT systems and infrastructure.

    Comprehensive Oversight:

    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network, private cloud, data centre, car park and theme park IT systems, IT equipment, security and CCTV systems, audio-visual systems, Internet of Things, phone system, cabling infrastructure, and telco services.

    Availability and Security Management:

    • Utilize AI-powered tools to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the company's IT systems and infrastructure.

    Vendor and Service Provider Management:

    • Manage relationships with AI and other tech vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements are met or exceeded.

    Performance Optimization:

    • Apply AI analytics to monitor IT infrastructure performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.

    Compliance and Regulation:

    • Develop and maintain IT infrastructure policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including those specific to AI.

    Technology Insight:

    • Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of emerging IT infrastructure technologies and trends, including AI, making recommendations to management on the adoption of new technologies.

    Team Leadership:

    • Manage a team of IT infrastructure professionals, fostering an environment that encourages innovation and the effective use of AI technologies.

    Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage the budget for IT infrastructure, hardware, and AI integrations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • At least 5-10 year(s) of working experience in IT infrastructure management with specific experience in Huawei technology and data center operations.
    • Able to welcome and adapt to change.
    • Management experience.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is an added advantage.
