- Responsible for making timely and accurate decisions regarding Automation equipment and systems. Priorities multiple activities and make effective decisions using sound problem solving methods. Interact effectively with manufacturing and equipment suppliers in a support role.
- Increase in responsibilities with competency level and technical expertise acquired through professional experience on the job according to targeted role.
- Detail knowledge of assigned area to understand related functional area sin Automation and Production area. Knows supplier / customer process in assigned area and how performance affects success of the business.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, implement corrective action &preventive actions.
- Recommend solutions to moderate and critical problems with detailed information
- Performs all tasks and responsibilities of Advanced Level Engineer. Knowledge of performance that directly impacts own functional area with prescribed parameters and an indirect impact on related areas.
- Indirect supervisory responsibilities such as team leading and training/guidance to new/existing engineers and technicians. On-the-job training to more junior colleagues
- Contribution to continuous improvement programs via executing projects and tasks to Meet/Exceed KPIs (Avaibility, Reliability, Speed & Quality)in defined area,
- Local and global communication skills to include documentation, supporting, presentation, team contribution and training.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, CRE, FM, Quality and other modules for solution on own functional area that directly and indirectly impacts Production area,
- Responsible for start-up until RFP (release for production) of new equipment and system installation.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
- Good understanding of principles and concepts in own technical area based on extensive training and possibly some job experience
- Training new engineers, interns and more junior technician in functional area
- Evaluates situations with some level of complexity using information.
- Ability to identify and resolves problems
- Ability to interact primarily within own team with focus on exchange of technical information
