    Job Description

    Financial, Statutory reporting & Tax

  • Ensure smooth monthly closing and year-end closing, execute T-code for Controlling Module.
  • Prepare HFM reporting and working papers.
  • Ensure clean Balance Sheet account and justifiable to auditor.
  • Liaison with external auditors on statutory audit and draft statutory financial statements.
  • Implementation of new accounting standards when it is required
  • Handle reporting requested by Central Bank (BNM) and MIDA.
  • Handle company secretary related matters.
  • Liaison with Group and insurance agent on insurance matters.
  • Liaison with tax agent and prepare corporate tax computation.
  • Handle transfer pricing related matters and Custom audit.
  • Management reporting & Costing

  • Prepare management reporting.
  • Upload standard cost, ensure accurate standard cost and inventory valuation.
  • Profitability analysis for sales orders, products and business units.
  • Prepare yearly cost center planning and cost allocation cycle.
  • Calculate yearly overhead and activity rate.
  • Prepare PDCA reports for logistic cost review and TCT review.
  • Review SLA and charges.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting

  • Assist in preparing forecast and annual budget.
  • Prepare Cash Flow forecast
  • Prepare cost forecast for Accounting team.
  • Internal Control & Operation

  • Prepare internal audit reports and perform Detective Control, implement and execute correction actions.
  • Assist in the physical inventory and lead the physical fixed assets count.
  • Work closely with Sales order team in the billing related matters.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc requests and projects
  • Qualifications

  • Professional Membership: Hold a professional membership in ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MIA
  • Education: Possess a degree in finance, accounting or a related field to demonstrate a strong foundation in financial principles & practices.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experiences, prefer exposure from both audit field & commercial environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills that effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment: Thrive in a dynamic & fast paced work environment, managing multiple priorities & time sensitive financial matters.
  • SAP experience is a must. Knowledge in Business Analysis System, HFM and TM1 is an added advantage.
