Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an R&D Manager located in Masai. The R&D Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities related to research and development, project management, team management, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• R&D skills, including experience in product development and testing
• Ability to conduct research and analyze findings to implement effective strategies
• Team management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources
• Team leadership skills, including the ability to provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to team members
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members effectively
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field
• Experience in the coatings industry or related field is a plus
• Fluent in English and Malay
  

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include knowledge of Sto's product range, experience in market research, and fluency in other Southeast Asian languages.
